Ma Ja Le is an ambient duo formed by Christopher Short (electronic guitar, flute) and Paul Vnuk Jr. (synths, percussion, vocals). For over ten years they have been experimenting and pushing their limits in the various genres of ethnically tinged electronic music. As sound designers, Ma Ja Le exhibit a wide range, with a focus on the futuristic, tribal and surreal. They released "Dreams in the Orchards of Saturn" in 1995 and also collaborated with Vir Unis (released "Imaginarium" in 1998) and James Johnson (released "Seed" in 2001).
